The body & cap of our DetectaUV Ultra Violet Marker are moulded from high-density polyethylene, containing a non-toxic metal detectable additive. This compound can be detected by correctly calibrated in-line metal detection systems.
The DetectaUV features an acrylic bullet style nib, with alcohol based UV ink. This ink is invisible to the naked eye but is illuminated by ultraviolet light. Potential uses include the security marking machinery and other assets.
The retractable permanent marker features metal detectable and x-ray visible external and internal plastic components made from our specially formulated XDETECT Polypropylene compound. Our retractable markers boast all the same properties as other pens in the range, including FDA, EU, and Japanese food contact approvals. They are shatter resistant, lanyard compatible, have colour co-ordinated retractable push inserts and sureflow ink.
This permanent marker is non toxic and with Sureflow ink, if the cap is left off, it will continue to write for several days. We also sell marker removal wipes.
